My wife and I had the pleasure of being guests at Chris Staines first Supper Club at the Abbey Hotel. Chris is an incredibly talented chef and this was a fabulous evening of amazing food and wonderful company around a large table in the ‘igloo’. Very much looking forward to the next Supper Club.
It was exciting too to meet the new team behind the new ‘No 15 Great Pulteney St’ (previously Carfax Hotel). Sounds incredible.

An absolute honour to shoot for Robert Potter, Head Chef at The Manor House Hotel in Castle Combe. He’s come a very long way since he was sous chef for my wife and I when we owned The Dial House Hotel in the Cotswolds. Michelin star around the corner I very much suspect!

A very wet and windy weekend in Bath means a day at home doing a little bit of playing around with an old favourite lens - Voigtlander Nokton 40mm 1.4. Such an inexpensive little lens, incredible Bokeh. Keep coming back to this lens time and again. I would go so far as to say I prefer it to the 50mm 1.4 ASPH Leica Summilux…. maybe….

A very quick overnight visit to Yorkshire. Nice surprise to wake up to a smattering of snow on hills.
